I needed a short break from Ubuntu and my blog and i also had to fix some grub problems that occurred after upgrading to 12.04. For some reason grub wasn’t installed on the right hard disk and wasn’t visible when booting up my system. After some tests i discovered grub was installed on my second hard disk instead of my primary hard disk. I went into my system bios and decided to swap the primary boot disk and that fixed my little grub problem.
Besides my little break and grub problems i also had to reinstall 3 other systems (2 windows 7 systems and one dual boot Ubutnu/Windows7) and while i was working on those systems i also decided to rebuild my home network and to create an extra wifi acces point for the android devices i use.
Another thing i had to fix was my tablet… When i bought it it came with Android 4.0.3 and i wanted to install Cyanogen Mod 9 (Android 4.0.4) on it. I did some searching in the xda developers forum and found what i was looking for. After upgrading my Samsung Tab 2 i also found a version for the Samsung Tab and decided to upgrade that one as well.
After fixing, reinstalling and some flashing everything works fine again if not better and it’s time to start blogging again!! I decided to stop posting about unstable/testing/release candidate and stuff like that. I simply don’t have the time to keep up with all the software releases and will only post about new and stable software releases or other usefull stuff.
That’s about all for now… Have a good day!
Hadn’t noticed you were absent (minded?) ๐
good to see you back here, there…
๐ Absent minded 24/7 didn’t you know that?
You are not back at all!
Not really no … ๐ I need to focus on some things i am working on. I thought i was done with important work but i am working on a new project (unfortunatly not Ubuntu related) that eats up all my time ๐
