You can install Chromium web browser using the chromium daily ppa. open a termminal window (press Alt+F2 and type: gnome-terminal) and copy+paste the following lines:
sudo apt-add-repository ppa:chromium-daily/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install chromium-browser
To start Chromium web browser press Alt+F2 and type: chromium-browser
I tried using Ubuntu Software Center, and it said I needed to check my Internet connection, and it worked fine in FF. Well I try this option, and now I have my favorite browser back. (I can’t let the yoono, and cortex extension go lol)
