Canonical asks users for their preferences

Through an online survey Canonical wants to ask its users which closed-source applications should be made be available for Ubuntu. This way the company hopes to get software companies to develop their software for Linux.

The questionnaire contains a number of popular applications like Photoshop and iTunes which are available on Windows and OS X , but not on Linux. Users can also own submit their own suggestions.
