DeaDBeeF 0.5.0 Beta 2 Is Released

DeaDBeeF (as in 0xDEADBEEF) is an audio player for GNU/Linux, BSD, OpenSolaris and probably other UNIX-like systems. It is mainly written by Alexey Yakovenko, with contributions from a lot of different people (see about box in the player for more details). This is a beta version so expect bugs. You can download a portable version of beta 2 as packages are not available in PPA yet.

You can download DeaDBeeF 0.5.0 from this page:

http://deadbeef.sourceforge.net/

Once downloaded extract the content of the tar.bz2 file to a location you like or prefer. To start DeaDBeeF open the deadbeef-0.5.0-beta2 folder and double click the deadbeef file.
