DeaDBeeF 0.5.0 RC1 Is Released

DeaDBeeF (as in 0xDEADBEEF) is an audio player for GNU/Linux, BSD, OpenSolaris and probably other UNIX-like systems. It is mainly written by Alexey Yakovenko, with contributions from a lot of different people (see about box in the player for more details). This is a beta version so expect bugs. You can download a portable version of 0.5.0 RC1 as packages are not available in PPA yet.

this build is as close to final 0.5 as possible, except few cosmetic changes need to be done, such as Changelog update, fresh translations, etc.

You can download DeaDBeeF 0.5.0 RC1 from here. Once downloaded extract the content of the tar.bz2 file. To start DeaDBeeF just double click on the file named deadbeef.
