Here is a manual to change your desktop opacity.
Press alt+F2 and type ccsm and activate (click on the checkbox) Desktop Cube then change the Opacity when not rotating settings. Click on Desktop Cube and select the Transparent Cub tab and change the Transparency when not rotating settings. Now your desktop will be transparent when it’s not rotating, if you want it to be transparent when rotating just change the Opacity during rotating settings.
