The Cyanogenmod compiler is an application that you can use to build your own Android rom (Ginger Bread, Ice Cream Sandwind and Jelly Bean). It’s an easy to use applpication and if you follow the instructions building your own Android roms should be a piece of cake. Please note that syncing the repo’s may take some time and not all phones/tablets are supported. You can install the Cyanogenmod compiler by adding the Lithid PPA
To add the PPA and install Cyanogenmod compiler open a terminal window (press Ctrl+Alt+T) and copy+paste the following lines:
sudo apt-add-repository ppa:lithid/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install cmcompiler
When the Cyanogenmod compiler is installed you can close the terminal window.
To start the Cyanogenmod compiler press the SuperKey and type: cyanogen. To compile your Android roms just follow the steps and be patient while syncing the repo’s.
