Here is a guide to install Mixxx on Ubuntu 13.04. You can install Mixxx by adding the “Mixxx Release Managers” team PPA.

To add the PPA and install Mixxx open a terminal window (press Ctrl+Alt+T) and copy+paste the following lines:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:mixxx/mixxx
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install mixxx libportaudio2
When installed you can close the terminal window and to start Mixxx press the SuperKey and type: mixxx
