How To Install MyUnity Ubuntu Unity Configuration Tool On Ubuntu 11.10

MyUnity is an application to configure Unity. Things you can change with MyUnity are: dash settings (blur,dash size), panel Transparency, show/hide desktop icons, font settings (font antialiasing,font hinting). You can install MyUnity using the MyUnity team PPA for MyUnity.




To add the PPA and install MyUnity open a terminal window (press Ctrl+ALt+T) and copy+paste the following lines:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:myunity/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install myunity

When MyUnity is installed you can close the terminal window and to start MyUnity press the SuperKey and type: myunity
