I have used Nevernote/Nixnote on my systems and it works great. I use it for my forensic/computer tech classes, information and data collection. I don’t necessarily put any sensitive stuff there, but things I access from anywhere.
Don’t forget to get the Chrome/Chromium extension for Evernote, it works great, also. Too bad Firefox got left out of this.
Nixnote is very useful, i didn’t know about the Chrome/Chromium extension for Evernote but i do know about the Android application… and this is what i found for Firefox: Evernote Web Clipper
Not available for Firefox 12.0a2
I’m still on version 10.0 and i didn’t upgrade Firefox to a newer (testing) version because of the lack of plugin support for many plugins… maybe you can downgrade your Firefox?
I wasn’t even aware that Evernote had a plugin for FF. I downgraded and IT WORKS!!! thanx alot. I’m a happy camper now.
I am glad i could i help you. Using the testing versions often results in faster surfing but most plugins aren’t tested and won’t work
