Install AwOken 2.0 Icons On Ubuntu 11.04 “Natty Narwhal”

Here is a guide to install the AwOken 2.0 icon theme. This icon theme contains 34 folder types, 90+ start-here-logos and a lot more. This icons are made by ~alecive and can be installed using a ppa.

To install the AwOken icon theme open a terminal window (press Alt+F2 and type: gnome-terminal) and copy+paste the following lines:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:alecive/antigone
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install awoken-icon-theme
awoken-icon-theme-customization

The last line will start the AwOken customization script. With this script you can make changes to the AwOken Clear and Dark version, colorize the iconset and remove or select an iconset. If you want to use an AwOken iconset press Alt+F2 and type: gnome-appearance-properties to open your appearance manager. Click on the Theme tab and click on the Customize button. Click on the Icons tab and select AwOken or AwOkenDark when done click on the close button.

I just want to say thank you! at first I went and did the sudo apt-get install calibre but the website said it was “”””out dated”””” So I found you again on youtube so once again thank you for making the ppa available!!
