Install CMus A Music Player For Your Terminal On Ubuntu 11.04 “Natty Narwhal”

CMus is a free, powerful, terminal-based music player using the ncurses toolkit. CMus supports various audio formats, including Ogg Vorbis, FLAC, MP3, WAV, Musepack, WavPack, WMA, AAC and MP4.


To install CMus open a terminal window (press Ctrl+Alt+T) and copy+paste the following line:

sudo apt-get install cmus

To start CMus open a terminal window and type: sudo cmus
