Here is a guide to install Evolution mail 3.13.8 on Ubuntu 14.04. You can install Evolution mail using the Gnome 3 PPA for Evolution mail maintained by Fabien Tassin.
Please note that this release (3.13.8) of Evolution mail is still a preview but working release.
To add the PPA and install Evolution mail open a terminal window (press Ctrl+Alt+T) and copy+paste the following lines:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:fta/gnome3 -y
sudo apt update && sudo apt install evolution -y
After the installation you can close the terminal window and to start Evolution mail press the SuperKey and type: evolution
