Here is a guide to install the Filezilla FTP Client version 3.5.0 using the ferramroberto ppa for Filezilla. This ppa is for the latest version of FileZilla by LffL.
To install Filezilla open a terminal window (press Alt+F2 and type: gnome-terminal) and copy+paste the following lines:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ferramroberto/filezilla
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install filezilla
To start Filezilla press Alt+F2 and type: filezilla
