Install Foobnix Music Player On Ubuntu 10.10 “Maverick Meerkat”

Here is a guide to install Foobnix music player on Ubuntu 10.04 and 10.10. Foobnix is very powerfull music player with CUE, last.fm, 3000+ radios, tabs, free online music playing, hotkeys, tray icons, easy navigation and user friendly.


To install Foobnix open a Terminal Window and copy+paste the following lines:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:foobnix-player/foobnix
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install foobnix

Some features are:

Library of multiple choice directories with music
Support all formats of gstreamer (plays everything!)
Tree Navigation
Quick filter search tree navigation
Ability to customize the tabs on top, left, or lack of
Create your virtual playlists from your local or online music
Save any music from the Internet, you can by albums, the best collections.
Skrobler music on last.fm
Display lyrics
Experimental support for CUE files
Video playback
Multiple drag-and-drop from the navigation tree or file system.
Equalizer 1.12

when i typed the commnads this terminal said me (sudo) password for Pedro:
Pedro is not in the sudoers file. This incident will be reported.
(Pedro@localhost -)$

please help me …..Thanks
