Install Gmediafinder On Ubuntu 11.04 “Natty Narwhal”

Gmediafinder is an application to search or download videos from YouTube. You can also create playlists or extract the audio from a YouTube video. Gmediafinder supports fullscreen mode, visualisations and it uses the gstreamer engine to play video files.




To install Gmediafinder open a terminal window (press Ctrl+Alt+T) and copy+paste the following lines:

sudo apt-add-repository ppa:s-lagui/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install gmediafinder

To start Gmediafinder press Alt+F2 and type: gmediafinder
To enable the download and the audio extraction options click on the Preferences button and mark the Enable downloads and Enable audio extraction options.
