sudo add-apt-repository ppa:openoffice-pkgs/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install openoffice.org
If you want to integrate OpenOffice into your desktop environment use one of the following lines:
For GNOME users:
sudo apt-get install openoffice.org-gnome
For KDE users:
sudo apt-get install openoffice.org-kde
When installed you can find OpenOffice under Applications -> Office.
OpenOffice Homepage.
This installs 3.2.1 not 3.3.
I did the sudo apt-get install openoffice.org-gnome install line and got a openoffice.org-gnome is already the newest version message but i have 3.2 installed, so it could be that they haven’t updated the packages.
Worked perfectly! Thank you!
This is a fucker fake, this installs 3.2.1 not 3.3.
