Here is a guide to install Turpial on Ubuntu 11.04. Turpial is a twitter and identi.ca client written in python. It is lightweight, functional and easy to use.
To install Turpial open a terminal window (press Ctrl+Alt+T) and copy+paste the following lines:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:effie-jayx/turpial
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install turpial
To start Turpial press Alt+F2 and type: turpial
