Mac Lion Theme For Ubuntu 11.10

On deviantart i found a Mac lion theme for Ubuntu 11.10 by ~MBOSSG. Please note that this is not a gnome-shell but a GTK3 theme.

Download the Mac Lion theme here and to install the theme follow these instructions:

1) extract Lion By MB0SS.tar.gz, then open the icon folder and cut and paste (Icon Lion By MB0SS) in /home/.icons (if the folder doesn’t exist you can simply make it yourself).

2) Open a terminal window (press SuperKey and type: terminal) and type: sudo nautilus. Then go to /usr/share/icons and make a new folder and move all cursor themes in the newly made folder and then cut and paste (dont copy) Lion By MB0SS cursor theme in /usr/share/icons folder.

3) Then go to your /usr/share/sound folder and cut and paste Lion By MB0SS sound theme in the /usr/share/sound folder and set mac sound theme in sound settings menu.

4) Now cut and paste the Lion By MB0SS theme in your home/.theme folder

To change the icons, cursor, window theme and GTK+ theme you need to have the gnome tweak tool installed. To install it copy+paste the following lines in your terminal window:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ricotz/testing
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install gnome-tweak-tool

When installed press the SuperKey and type: advanced settings and change the following settings:

windows theme: Lion by MB0SS
cursor theme: Lion by MB0SS
icon theme: icon Lion by MB0SS
GTK+theme: Lion by MB0SS

Reboot your computer and enjoy the Mac Lion theme!!
