Here is a guide to install Birdie on Ubuntu 13.04, you can install Birdie by adding the “Birdie Developers” team PPA.
Birdie is a beautiful Twitter client for elementary OS. Birdie is fast, easy to use and works great. It provides all the basic Twitter features and allows you to enjoy Twitter right on your desktop. Visit the Birdie Homepage.
To add the PPA and install Birdie open a terminal window (press Ctrl+Alt+T) and copy+paste the following lines:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:birdie-team/stable -y
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install birdie -y
When the installation is finished you can close the terminal window. To start Birdie press the SuperKey and type: birdie
