I tested many Twitter applications and the one i like the most is DestroyTwitter, it’s an easy to use applicition to read and post tweets. To use DestroyTwitter you need to have AdobeAir installed on your system so here is a guide to install AdobeAir and DestroyTwitter.
To install AdobeAir open a terminal window (press Ctrl+Alt+T) and copy+paste the following lines:
Ubuntu x64
sudo apt-get install ia32-libs
cd ~/Downloads
wget http://update.devolo.com/linux/apt/pool/main/a/adobeair/adobeair_2.6.0.19170_amd64.deb
sudo dpkg -i adobeair_2.6.0.19170_amd64.deb
Ubuntu x32
cd ~/Downloads
wget http://update.devolo.com/linux/apt/pool/main/a/adobeair/adobeair_2.6.0.19170_i386.deb
sudo dpkg -i adobeair_2.6.0.19170_i386.deb
In the next steps we will download and install DestroyTwitter.
Download DestroyTwitter
Open the downloaded file and extract it to your Desktop.
Open the folded on your Desktop and double click on the DestroyTwitter215p2.air file. Install it using AdobeAir.
When DestroyTwitter is installed all you have to do is log in and your good to go.
