How To Install GParted Partition Editor On Ubuntu 13.04

Here is a guide to install GParted Partition Editor on Ubuntu 13.04. You can install GParted Partition Editor using the Ubuntu Software Center.

GParted is a free partition editor for graphically managing your disk partitions. With GParted you can resize, copy, and move partitions without data loss, enabling you to: Grow or shrink your C: drive, Create space for new operating systems ,Attempt data rescue from lost partitions. Click here to install GParted

When the software center is opened click on the Install button and enter your password to authenticate the installation. When GParted is installed you can close the software center, to start GParted press the SuperKey and type: gparted

Guess PC disk partition tabe, find lost partitions (gpart)
Utilities for managing the JFS filesystem (jsfutils)
Create device mappings for partitions (kpartx)

Utilities for managing the XFS filesystem (xfsprogs)

To install the optional add-ons first install GParted, when the installation is finished mark the add-ons you want to install and click on the Apply Changes button.
