I’ve been trying several twitter clients and must say that Polly is the best so far.. it’s better then gwibber and turpial. Polly is a Linux Twitter client designed for multiple columns of multiple accounts. You can install Polly using the Polly Daily PPA. Some features are: selective account tweeting, image/media uploading, messaging menu integration, collapsable entry box.
To add the PPA and install Polly open a terminal window (press Ctrl+Alt+T) and copy+paste the following lines:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:conscioususer/polly-daily
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install polly
When installed you can close the terminal window and to start Polly press the SuperKey and type: polly
