Install Furius Iso Mount On Ubuntu 11.04 “Natty Narwhal”

Furius ISO Mount is a simple application for mounting ISO, IMG, BIN, MDF and NG image files even without burning them to disk.

To install Furius iso mount open your Ubuntu Software Center, to do this click on the launcher in the left panel or press Alt+F2 and type: software-center. Search for: furius, select the search result and click on the install button.

To start furius iso mount press Alt+F2 and type: furiusisomount.

To load an image you can click on the Browse button and select the image. When the image is loaded you click on the mount button and the image shown in your Places menu. Click on the Home folder launcher and you will see the Places menu on the left side of the window. Or you can simply drag the image into Furius iso mount.

To unmount an image select the image and click on the Unmount button. And if you want to burn the image to a disc all you have to do is to insert and empty cd/dvd and click on the Burn button.

Automatically removes the mount directory to return your home directory to its previous state.

Burn ISO and IMG Files to optical disk.
Generate Md5 and SHA1 checksums.
Automatically retrieves any previously unmounted images.
Automatically generates a log file of all commands needed to mount and unmount images manually.
