Install SuperTuxKart 0.7 On Ubuntu 10.10 “Maverick Meerkat”

SuperTuxKart is a Free 3d kart racing game, we want to make the game fun more than we want to make it realistic. You can play with up to 4 friends on one PC, racing against each other or just try to beat the computer. SuperTuxKart Homepage





To install SuperTuxKart open a Terminal window (Applications -> Accessories -> Terminal) and copy+paste the following lines:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:stk/dev
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install supertuxkart

After installation, the game will be found at Applications -> Games -> Supertuxkart.
