How To Install Ubuntu After Install On Ubuntu 14.10

Here’s a handy tool that will do an automated installation a lot of useful extra software on Ubuntu after the initial desktop install.

Ubuntu After Install installs a collection of some of the best Ubuntu software and can be considered to be one of the top things to do after installing Ubuntu.



You can install Ubuntu After Install using the Ubuntu After Install PPA. To add the PPA and install Ubuntu After Install open a terminal window (press Ctrl+Alt+T) and copy+paste the following lines:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:thefanclub/ubuntu-after-install -y

sudo apt update && sudo apt install ubuntu-after-install -y


After the installation you can close the terminal window and to start Ubuntu After install press the SuperKey and type: after install.
